Playing with water colors
I saw an ad in the Bloomingdale's catalog at work and it's been burning a hole in my mind. It didn't come out quite as I expected. I bought a $2 pad of water color paper so I'll keep playing with it...but not too bad for not having worked with them in five years. I want to get looser with creating...less details and more feelings. I want it to be like a song full of made up words and expressions we all know.

This latest piece...largest to date at 24x36 is also less whimsy as my development of features and shading is coming along. I glad to start seeing a more mature emotion on their faces as well. I'm just so happy it's finished. I have 4 other smaller canvases started with backgrounds and hopefully I ca keep the momentum going and get them all finished this week.

I grew up believing that I couldn't really be "me" and be successful or accepted or loved. It feels good to push myself and challenge the old beliefs and replace them with new ones.

You can not deny these are some hot pics! As an artist and psuedo-hedonist (that means I talk a lot of shit but usually go home by myself) I love the beautiful female form. And as booti-licsious chic myself I loves all the attention on the azz. My only head scratching moment...is where's the chocolate booties? We all know ain't no booty like sista's booty! Maybe there will be more of us in the book...it IS 245 pages so I know we gotta be in there. But all in all I love Mazucco's creativity and and all the juxtaposition in the photo...the play with light and shapes and nature...It' really well done and ya boy Diddy had his hand in this as well. I really respect his aesthetic and luvs his hustle. no doubt, I'll be getting my copy on Nov 22.
